HOOQ launches Rs.89 per month subscription plan, will focus on Hollywood movies and TV shows

HOOQ, video-on-demand service that was launched in India in 2015.HOOQ has confirmed that they will focus more on Hollywood movies and TV shows. For which HOOQ has introduced a new Rs 89 per month subscription plan for the Indian market and the application will be available on both Android and iOS devices. As a part of an inaugural offer, Hooq is offering 3 months subscription for Rs 89.

HOOQ  said that they will now focus on providing latest Hollywood movies and famous TV shows to the Indian audience with its new tagline, ‘Home of Hollywood’. HOOQ is going to add  dubbed English movies in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages and it will also introduce subtitle in these languages as well.

HOOQ is expanding the library with over 1000 Hollywood movies and television series from Sony, Warner Bros., such as Wonder Woman, The Da Vinci Code and TV series like The Flash, Arrow, Gotham, Friends and many more. HOOQ customers will also be able to enjoy HOOQ exclusives like Lucifer, Supergirl, The Big Bang Theory and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow etc.

HOOQ confirmed that it will bring the new Hollywood movies within 90 days of its theatrical release, though users need to pay Rs 59 to watch it. However, under the subscription offer, users will get one free ticket for watching the latest Hollywood movies every month.
